Description
Founded in 1975, the Scaricalasino choir, based in Monghidoro (Bologna), has combined a passion for traditional local singing, musical research with master composers, and social inclusion, consolidating over time a cohesive and collaborative reality.
To highlight this experience, we have included a selection of recordings from 1975 to the present day on the CD celebrating the choir’s 50th anniversary. The booklet contains notes from its directors, the president, and the ethnomusicologist who has studied traditional music, dance, and singing in our country. The lyrics of the songs are included for those who wish to sing along with us.
