Description
The book traces the history of the Carnic trio that made an entire era dance, sing and dream. Formed in the early 1970s and active until the early 1990s, the group consisting of Amato Matiz “Pakai” on accordion, Genesio Puntel on double bass, Paolo Morocutti on guitar and Stefano Paletti on vocals, was the expression of an authentic feeling that reached Europe, Canada, America and South Africa. Authors of music, lyrics and original reinterpretations of the musical heritage of Friuli, but also Austria and Slovenia, the members of this legendary band are brought back to life in this book, together with their exploits and adventures, many of which are hilarious. Documents, analyses, photographs, anecdotes and testimonies reconstruct the artistic careers and personalities of these beloved and unforgettable folk music stars.
