Truòis e gòtes, a title derived from two significant albums by Franco Giordani (Truòisparis, 2017) and Alvise Nodale (Gòtes, 2024). ‘Gocce e sentieri’ (Drops and Paths) seems to indicate how the twelve tracks, including one unreleased and one traditional, are drops from the musical heritage of the two authors, pointing to an interpretative path for their idea of music. A strictly acoustic concert, recorded in an unusual and evocative historical location such as the cave of San Giovanni d’Antro in the Natisone Valleys, presents a selection of the best-known tracks from the repertoire of Franco Giordani and Alvise Nodale. The sounds of the natural environment, the mix of linguistic variations in the lyrics, and the great guitar and vocal harmony make this album a delightful introduction to the poetics of two Friulian composers.
