Description
The album, developed as a concept, tells the story of a young woman from Pakistan who arrives in Europe. Listening to it is surprising and moving due to the power of its simplicity. Nicole’s voice immediately brings us back to physical reality, made of flesh, hair, pupils and blisters, transcending the muffled digital bubble into which we have fallen. The sounds, skilfully calibrated by Leo Virgili, greatly emphasise the multi-hued timbre of the Friulian singer-songwriter.
The booklet contains original lyrics in Friulian, Italian translations and introductory texts by Loris Vescovo, Mojra Bearzot, Sara Rosso and Angelo Floramo.
