Poet, writer, journalist and film director Pier Paolo Pasolini has been one of the most charismatic figures of the Italian artistic and cultural scene in the ‘60s and ‘70s. I felt very influenced by all aspects of his art, especially for his path, very similar to mine. After his tragic assasination, I felt compelled to write this concert, paying homage to one of the pillars of the Italian culture. The concert was premiered in Udine in October 1985 and since then, performed all over Europe.
